Bible Study Classes are offered Wednesday nights at 7PM. Youth Master-Life classes are offered on Sunday mornings in-person at 9AM; Each Youth Master-Life cycle is completed in two (2) 6-week sessions. Students must register in advance.
Ushering offers youth a rewarding opportunity to be the first impression of our congregation. The only requirement is a friendly spirit and a heart for service. Our youth are trained and assisted by adult usher/leaders, and usually serve on the second Sunday of the month.
Youth Choir/Youth Dancers for ages 12 and up, is open to all youth of the congregation. Under the leadership of the Music & Worship Arts Ministry the Youth Choir and Youth Dancers are assigned various Sundays to minister during the 11:00 worship service. Rehearsals are generally scheduled on the two Saturdays, prior to the assigned Sunday, and will be included in the prior week’s announcements.

Media/Visual/Sound Ministry is a great ministry for youth to learn the technical side of creating a dynamic worship experience. They can be trained to operate cameras, sound boards, lighting and visual displays.

Spring Break College Tour is an opportunity to expose youth to college life in general and HBCU life in particular! Each year the church takes a motor coach filled with students in grades 8 through 12 and adult chaperones to visit Historically Black Colleges & Universities in the south- central portion of the United States. During the week-long JCPS spring break students tour five or six HBCU’s, as well as cultural landmarks, museums, and fun points of interest. Tours are announced in December with applications and fees accepted January through March.
